Technical Compliance Manager
As a Technical Compliance Manager, the individual will be responsible for ensuring that the company remains compliant with all functional and technical requirements relevant to its licenses and other applicable regulations. This role demands a technical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of iGaming compliance requirements. The Technical Compliance Manager will report directly to the Head of Technical Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to technical compliance.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, ensuring a control system is in place and followed to mitigate risks and prevent regulatory incidents.
- Provide proactive and ongoing advice on the impact of regulations and necessary actions from a technical perspective.
- Stay up-to-date with changes to relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with Product teams to ensure that all products and services meet the required compliance requirements. Assist in the interpretation of requirements and validate solution proposals.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments, ensuring that compliance is integrated into all business processes.
- Manage regulatory audits and other compliance-related projects from a technical perspective, including the preparation and maintenance of required documentation.
- Ensure regulatory reporting is accurate, that required data is maintained, and that all necessary reports are submitted on time.
- Review and analyze the suitability of third-party systems against regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to quality policies and contribute to the effectiveness of the internal quality management system.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, testing laboratories, and consultants on any compliance-related matters.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, Product Development, Compliance, or Technical Auditing, preferably within the iGaming industry. Transferable skills from other relevant roles will be considered.
- University-level technical degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
