Key Responsibilities:

• Develops high-quality business strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term objectives.
• Leads the team to achieve new business levels within the regulatory framework and in-house policies, thereby ensuring good corporate governance.
• Builds, motivates, and enhances team morale, fostering employee engagement.
• Develops a high-performing managerial team.
• Cultivates and protects a culture and work environment that promotes excellent results, positioning the CEO as a leadership role model.
• Oversees all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and align with the overall strategy and mission.
• Makes high-quality investment decisions to advance the business and increase profitability.
• Reviews financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
• Establishes trust-based relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
• Analyzes problematic situations and occurrences, providing solutions to ensure the company's survival and growth.
• Maintains a deep knowledge of the company's markets and industry.
• Reports key objectives to the Board and tracks them through KPIs.
• Collaborates with other leadership executives to create a culture of ownership and accountability that supports efficient operations without requiring the CEO to oversee every detail of the business.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in the financial field with a professional business acumen.
• Tertiary education is considered a strong asset.
• Knowledgeable about the regulatory framework and FinTech environments.
• Proven experience in a start-up at the C-level.
• Regarded as fit and proper by the regulator (PQ’d in a similar role) is considered a strong asset.
• Strong communicator with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate at all levels.
• Demonstrates excellent adaptability, flexibility, independence, and resourcefulness to lead a big vision strategy while also willing to roll up sleeves and multi-task in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Consistently drives effective results.
