Sales Operations and Bid Specialist
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations and Bid Specialist to join their Sales Team, reporting directly to the General Manager. The individual will oversee sales operations across LATAM, EU, and APAC regions, including managing pre-sales activities, developing proposals, coordinating and participating in trade fairs, following up on sales leads, and delivering presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients. This role focuses on sales operations, bid management, and driving sales generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify prospective markets and customer segments.
- Identify and engage with new target segments, including Payfacs, acquiring, and issuing clients.
- Prepare and present business and technical presentations to demonstrate product offerings to potential clients.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions, conducting system demonstrations and showcasing functionality.
- Follow up on initial contacts, clarify client requirements, and ensure alignment with commercial proposals.
- Draft and prepare commercial proposals, ensuring all solution aspects are covered.
- Review RFIs and RFPs, collaborating with internal teams to gather and deliver responses within deadlines.
- Serve as the primary sales contact for clients, addressing any needs throughout the sales process.
- Work with the Sales Administrator to maintain an updated Salesforce system with all leads and prospects.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to enhance offerings aligned with market trends.
- Monitor competition and stay informed on developments in the payments industry.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the client’s applications and services, ensuring a high standard of service and work quality.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, sales operations, or bid management.
- Proven background as a sales consultant or engineer in the payments industry.
- Technical understanding of platform architecture and the ability to convey technical details to non-technical customers.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and familiarity with CRM programs.
- Strong skills in data gathering and analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales abilities.
- Skilled in organization and analytics, with experience in Salesforce software (user or admin).
- Willingness to travel as required.
