Our client is seeking to recruit a Systems Engineer to join their Enterprise Solutions team. This team provides managed services to customers across on-premise, data center, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboarding, administering, and performing operational tasks on customers’ cloud and on-premise environments.
• Designing and implementing new technical projects tailored to customers’ needs.
• Handling operational issues, requests, and project tasks involving various technologies such as Azure, Windows servers, Linux servers, patching tools, and virtual machine servers.
• Installing, configuring, administering, and managing Azure resources, including compute instances, Azure Backup, Azure Storage Monitor, snapshots, and Azure Storage.
• Configuring and administering Microsoft 365 technologies, including Defender and Intune.
• Proactively scheduling preventive maintenance and implementing service enhancements across systems, networking, security, and cloud environments.
• Taking ownership of customer issues, focusing on prioritizing and resolving problems effectively.
• Collaborating with the commercial team to understand customer requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• Documenting environments and problem resolutions to maintain operational transparency and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experienced in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and AWS.
• Proficient in system administration across multiple areas, including Windows and/or Linux server-side infrastructure, virtual machines, and related technologies on physical servers, VMWare, and database administration.
• Comfortable troubleshooting and configuring technologies such as Terminal servers (RDS), Windows Clustering, NLB, DFS, Internal PKI, and Hyper-V, with PowerShell scripting expertise.
• Skilled at coordinating and multi-tasking across various internal and external teams.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation concepts.
• Familiarity with international standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, DORA, PCI-DSS, etc.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, MS-500, and AZ-104 are advantageous.

Additional Information:

• The role involves participation in an on-call rotation as part of the Enterprise Solutions team.
• A hybrid working model is offered, and a valid driving license is required.
• Active maintenance of certifications, as agreed upon with the manager, is expected.
