Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with a strong emphasis on compliance and finance. This role involves analysing complex data sets, designing and implementing data models, and delivering insights to support compliance and regulatory decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Compliance and Finance teams to ensure that the data infrastructure not only supports business objectives but also adheres to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Extract, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to support compliance monitoring and business operations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports to track compliance metrics and ensure regulatory adherence.

Data Quality and Compliance Assurance:

• Establish and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness, particularly for compliance-critical data.
• Monitor and validate data to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Compliance Insights and Recommendations:

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to mitigate compliance risks and enhance regulatory adherence.
• Work with compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical data specifications for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with Development and Compliance Teams to address data gaps and ensure alignment with compliance needs.
• Communicate findings and results to stakeholders, including compliance officers and non-technical teams, in a clear and concise manner.

Automation and Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline compliance reporting and automate monitoring processes.
• Develop tools and systems to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of compliance data tracking.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance-related data processes, reports, and data models to ensure consistency and support knowledge sharing across the organisation.
• Conduct gap analyses between compliance requirements and data processes, translating findings into actionable technical requirements for data models, reporting, and monitoring systems.

Promoting a Compliance-Driven Culture:

• Advocate for the importance of compliance and regulatory alignment across the organisation.
• Educate and empower employees to integrate compliance considerations into data-related workflows.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Compliance, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, Compliance Analyst, or similar data-driven role, ideally within an iGaming environment.
• Background in managing data quality assurance processes with a strong focus on compliance standards and regulatory adherence.
• Proven experience in extracting, cleaning, and analysing data to support compliance insights and decision-making.
• Experience in data visualisation and dashboard creation for clear and actionable compliance reporting is considered an asset.

Technical Skills:

• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modelling and database management.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Airflow is preferred.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory standards, and data governance best practices.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau.
