Recruitment Specialist
Our client, operating in the sports investment and online gaming industry is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to manage the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple functional areas in Africa. This role is crucial in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to support the company's growth strategy. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS), the Recruitment Specialist will play a key role in implementing recruitment strategies, enhancing employer branding, and optimizing hiring processes while ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Collaborate with hiring managers across various departments to understand business needs.
- Proactively source and attract top talent through diverse recruitment channels.
- Support the TAS in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sourcing strategies and improve recruitment effectiveness.
Candidate Experience
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience from job posting to onboarding.
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability and provide hiring managers with a shortlist of high-quality candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and feedback loops while ensuring a structured and fair selection process.
- Champion inclusive hiring by implementing best practices to reduce bias in recruitment.
Onboarding & Induction
- Assist the TAS in coordinating and executing onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Ensure new employees have access to the necessary resources, tools, and training for a successful integration into their roles.
- Gather feedback from new hires to enhance the onboarding experience and refine processes.
Employer Branding & Market Intelligence
- Work closely with the HR Culture & Experience Specialist and HR Teams to implement employer branding initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market insights to provide recommendations on hiring strategies.
- Develop compelling and engaging job advertisements to attract top talent effectively.
Data & Process Optimization
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate progress using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire.
- Continuously refine and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and hiring success.
Minimum Essential Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in gaming or related industries.
- Hands-on experience with ATS and recruitment tools.
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using advanced search techniques.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition metrics and data-driven decision-making.
