Compliance Officer
Our client is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join their team. This role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a strong commitment to maintaining regulatory standards within the iGaming industry. Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, the successful candidate will be responsible for various compliance-related tasks to ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies. This position follows a hybrid office/home working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Client and Supplier Onboarding – Facilitate the due diligence process and maintain accurate records.
- Supplier Monitoring – Ensure supplier relationships are monitored in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Policies & Procedures – Assist in the creation and maintenance of company documentation.
- Training – Maintain training records for group companies.
- Audits – Provide assistance as required during audit processes.
- Regulatory Submissions – Support regulatory submission processes, with the goal of eventually managing them independently.
- Industry Awareness – Stay informed of internal standards, industry regulations, and business goals.
- Knowledge Management – Maintain a solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and technical documentation.
- General Compliance Support – Assist with any other ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Compliance department.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Compliance or a similar role.
- Previous experience within the iGaming industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an asset).
- Comfortable handling external communication via email and phone.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Capable of working independently and adapting quickly to change.
- Consistent, dependable, and able to maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Technical Compliance team or a technical background.
