To further strengthen their operations, they are seeking a Content Manager to join their team of experts in Malta.
Role & Responsibilities
The Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing a growing portfolio of websites, collaborating with developers, editors, and SEO/content teams to create branded web content while monitoring its effectiveness over time. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in site content.
- Maintaining a content marketing calendar to schedule and manage content creation and delivery.
- Producing site maps and visual representations to facilitate team understanding of website structure and functionality.
- Writing and editing content, including videos and images.
- Analyzing user interaction data to improve site performance.
- Creating SEO-optimized content using targeted keywords to improve rankings and click-through rates.
- Monitoring SEO performance through weekly reports and recommending effective strategies for improvement.
- Training employees and consultants on web content writing and production.
- Updating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on company websites.
- Conducting competitive analysis, technical audits, and keyword research to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Staying informed on industry best practices and competitor activities to refine content strategies.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in content editing.
- Strong proofreading skills, the ability to suggest complex amendments, and experience in writing localized content with distinct brand tones.
- Previous experience managing a team of content writers and editors.
- Native-level English proficiency (additional languages are an advantage).
- Experience in iGaming, including familiarity with its culture and games.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms such as WordPress and Joomla.
- A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content aligned with the company’s brand identity.
- Advanced written communication skills and adaptability to in-house styles.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to compile and summarize information from various sources.
- Experience in social media engagement strategies and best practices.
- High computer literacy, particularly in writing, interpreting, and editing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and relevant tools to achieve performance goals.
- A well-organized, self-motivated, and results-driven approach.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct in-depth research.
