Our client, a leading iGaming company based in Malta, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic leader with strong financial acumen, the ability to drive strategic decision-making, and hands-on expertise in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and advice to the CEO, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term growth strategies.
• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring efficient financial management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and financial best practices within the gaming industry.
• Monitor financial risks, implement robust internal controls, and ensure strong corporate governance.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that drive profitability and sustainable growth.
• Support business expansion initiatives, including potential M&A activities, though M&A experience is considered a plus rather than a requirement.
• Be actively involved in daily financial operations, striking a balance between strategic oversight and hands-on financial management.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified finance professional (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the gaming or related industries.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and working closely with executive leadership.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence at the executive level.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to manage both high-level strategy and daily financial operations.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions is an advantage but not a necessity.
