Objectives of the Role

• Design, build, and maintain native mobile and web applications

Key Responsibilities

• Build native and web applications for both iOS and Android platforms
• Diagnose and resolve security vulnerabilities, bugs, or performance issues
• Perform regular security and performance audits
• Stay informed on emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive
• Manage the complete application lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and enhancements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience (professional or otherwise) in application development
• Track record of publishing apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, or deploying web applications
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript or Python
• Strong grasp of core programming principles and software design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• High attention to detail, with strong time-management and organisational abilities
• End-to-end development experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django)
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, and experience deploying scalable services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience designing application interfaces and wireframes
• Ability to develop features and UI based on wireframe models
