Payments Specialist
Our client is seeking a Payments Specialist to join their iGaming operations team. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational efficiency and product performance of the company’s payment solutions. Reporting to the Head of Payments Product, the Payments Specialist will manage daily payment operations, support the integration of new payment methods, monitor transaction flows, resolve issues, and ensure optimal performance and compliance across various markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Payments Operations & Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze payment performance, success rates, and processing issues across multiple Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
- Troubleshoot transaction errors, declines, and reconciliation issues in collaboration with Finance, Fraud, and Support teams.
Payment Product Support
- Assist in testing new payment methods and providers, ensuring alignment with business and market needs.
- Work closely with product and technology teams throughout integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-launch monitoring.
Provider & Market Support
- Track service-level agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues as necessary to maintain provider efficiency and compliance.
Reporting & Insights
- Generate reports on key payment KPIs, including approval rates.
- Identify inefficiencies in the payment flow and propose improvements to enhance conversion and reduce friction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a payments operations or payments product role within iGaming, fintech, e-commerce, or a similar online service environment.
- In-depth understanding of various payment ecosystems, including cards, wallets, bank transfers, cryptocurrencies, and alternative payment methods (APMs).
- Proficiency in using PSP dashboards and back-office systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven setting.
