Our client is seeking a Revenue Accountant who will be responsible for the accurate accounting, recognition, and reporting of revenues across their B2B online gaming operations. Working closely with the Revenue Administrator and Revenue Associate, this role ensures that all revenue transactions are properly accounted for in accordance with applicable accounting standards. The Revenue Accountant will provide financial insight, support compliance with audit and tax requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of revenue processes within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS and the client’s accounting policies.

• Review and reconcile monthly revenue reports against system data, invoices, and contractual agreements.

• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, accruals, and deferrals.

• Maintain and reconcile revenue-related balance sheet accounts, including deferred income.

• Collaborate with the Revenue Associate and Revenue Administrator to ensure contractual terms are accurately reflected in accounting records.

• Provide financial analysis on revenue trends, margins, and partner performance.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and gaming regulatory requirements related to revenue.

• Contribute to system enhancements, automation initiatives, and best practices within revenue accounting.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).

• 1–2 years of post-qualification accounting experience, ideally within iGaming, SaaS, or another subscription-based or transactional environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers).

• Solid understanding of revenue cycles, billing processes, and contract management.

• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Experience working with ERP or financial systems.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• High attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
