The Accounts Officer will support the finance team with daily accounting operations, focusing on data entry, reconciliations, and payment processes. This hands-on role is well-suited for an individual who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and eager to grow within the finance function of a fast-paced B2C business. While a degree is not required, a minimum of one year of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily input of accounting transactions in the system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Carry out PSP (Payment Service Provider) reconciliations, ensuring settlements, fees, and chargebacks are correctly recorded.
• Assist in reconciling bank and wallet accounts with accounting records.
• Support accounts payable by processing invoices and payments as required.
• Identify and report any discrepancies in reconciliations to senior finance staff.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues to meet month-end closing deadlines.
• Provide support with ad-hoc tasks within the finance department as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting, finance operations, or reconciliation role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting systems.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• No degree required, though basic accounting knowledge is expected.
