HR & Office Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced HR and Office Manager to support the HR function while overseeing office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR-related tasks and projects, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the office, and fostering a positive work environment. This role will also focus on employee engagement, compliance with policies and procedures, and driving initiatives that align with the company’s business goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and training programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies in line with business objectives, covering areas such as recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide HR metrics and reports to management.
- Manage office operations including supplies, upkeep, event coordination, and supplier relationships.
- Maintain office policies and budgets, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Provide management and the board with regular HR updates and reports.
- Perform any additional duties that may arise.
Person Specification
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- Relevant tertiary or post-secondary academic qualifications.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Solid knowledge of HR operations, processes, and analytics
- Up-to-date understanding of labour law, rules, and regulations.
- High computer literacy with a strong technical background and understanding of the mobile messaging industry.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with strong project leadership capabilities.
- Excellent time management and work ethic.
- Target- and objective-driven, with the ability to set goals, track progress, and motivate others.
- Proactive in taking responsibility and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
