Payment Product Manager
Our client, an iGaming service provider is looking for a Payment Product Manager to join their team in Malta.
The role involves managing both external and internal configuration requests and monitoring existing and new configurations daily to ensure optimal solution processing performance. The individual is responsible for improving approval ratios by analyzing data and implementing appropriate actions.
They proactively identify and report unusual spikes in transactional activity, determine their causes, and recommend effective solutions. The role includes liaising with current and prospective Payment Service Providers (PSPs), requesting necessary documentation, and sharing relevant information with stakeholders.
The position also entails adjusting configurations in line with evolving business requirements, directives from the Line Manager, input from various Business Units (with Line Manager confirmation), and PSP instructions. Close collaboration with the Development Team and Business Partners is essential to ensure accurate integration of new payment solutions and enhancements to existing ones.
The individual investigates queries promptly, provides updates, and escalates issues both internally and externally while proposing suitable solutions to meet established SLAs. They are also responsible for preparing and maintaining up-to-date configuration documentation and creating additional payment solution documentation as needed.
Continuous review and recommendation of improvements to current configuration and integration processes form an important part of the role, along with performing other related tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience with Payment IQ configuration or a similar role is essential.
- Strong understanding of payment and alternative payment solutions.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role.
- Background in the online gambling industry.
- Previous experience in a customer-oriented position.
