Spanish Speaking Compliance Specialist
Our client, an iGaming operator is looking for a Spanish speaking Compliance specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities
Monitor and stay up to date with all legal and regulatory obligations and changes across the Markets, including AML/CFT requirements.
Draft, update, develop, and implement compliance-related policies and procedures to ensure the Group’s operations within the Markets comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
Manage the Group’s policy portfolio and, together with the Compliance Team, implement a system for periodic policy reviews while monitoring adherence to approved policies and procedures.
Perform internal compliance and control checks across the Group’s licensed operations to identify shortcomings, recommend improvements, and report findings to the Compliance Team.
Work closely with the Legal, Risk, Customer Support, and Technology teams to oversee the implementation of new regulatory requirements and ensure ongoing compliance.
Conduct research, analyse, and disseminate information on new or revised laws and regulations impacting the Company’s business and compliance framework.
Ensure that business operations within the Markets are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal policies.
Oversee timely regulatory reporting and notification requirements across the respective Markets, including submissions, returns, and filings to regulatory authorities in line with applicable regulatory regimes and deadlines.
Support the MLROs in the respective Markets as required, including identifying AML risks, assisting with AML audits, and supporting employee training on AML/CFT best practices.
Requirements
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
Experience working within the Spanish regulated market.
Minimum of three years’ experience in Compliance or a related role.
Proven ability to interpret, understand, and communicate regulatory requirements.
Ability to take direction while also independently taking ownership of tasks and projects through to completion.
High level of integrity, responsibility, and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential information.
Experience working with multiple regulated markets and jurisdictions.
