The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reviewing, approving, and drafting agreements and other legal documents to ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements

• Providing legal advice and assistance in corporate transactions and the restructuring of corporate entities

• Conducting legal research on various points of law and consolidating legal opinions for clients

• Providing legal advisory and interpretation services to management to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements

• Preparing legal opinions and advising management on general matters, including internal policies and procedures

• Undertaking any other duties that fall within the employee’s competence as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Full qualification as a lawyer, with a warrant to practice under Maltese law

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role

• Strong motivation and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
