They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their expanding team. The role will focus on transforming user interface concepts into fully functional products while collaborating closely with UX designers to bring creative visions to life.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• Apply responsive design principles to guarantee compatibility across devices and screen sizes.

• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.

UI/UX Collaboration

• Partner with UI/UX designers to interpret and implement detailed design specifications.

• Convert wireframes and mockups into high-quality, maintainable code.

• Provide constructive input and recommendations to improve overall user experience.

• Participate in usability testing and incorporate user feedback into iterations.

Component Development

• Build and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries.

• Ensure consistency with the wider design system and brand standards.

Mentorship and Leadership

• Support and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and code quality.

• Lead front-end initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.

• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.

• Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Next.js) and related tooling (Redux, Vuex, etc.).

• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and CSS-in-JS approaches (Styled Components, Emotion).

• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles.

• Familiarity with UX/UI tools such as Figma.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

• Passion for crafting intuitive, visually appealing user experiences.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Bonus Points

• Exposure to server-side technologies such as Node.js.

• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks.

• Ability to set up and manage WordPress environments (LocalWP, Docker, Valet) aligned with production.

• Confidence using Git and managing deployments.

• Experience configuring Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

• Ability to develop modular WordPress templates from the ground up.

• Advanced SCSS/JavaScript compilation knowledge using Webpack or Vite.

• Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques.
