The client is seeking a Sportsbook Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and performance of the sportsbook product. The role focuses on maintaining a competitive betting offering, managing sportsbook promotions, and supporting operational processes across trading, customer support, and external providers.

The Sportsbook Manager will collaborate closely with sportsbook suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth sportsbook operations, efficient resolution of player queries, and a betting offer optimized around key sporting events and target markets.

Key Responsibilities

Sportsbook Operations

• Oversee daily sportsbook operations to ensure a seamless betting experience.

• Monitor key performance metrics including turnover, margin, and player activity.

• Ensure the sportsbook offering remains competitive and aligned with major sporting events.

• Localize the sportsbook product by prioritizing relevant leagues, events, and markets.

Promotions & Campaigns

• Plan and execute sportsbook promotions such as free bets, odds boosts, and event-based campaigns.

• Create sportsbook specials designed to increase engagement and betting activity.

• Collaborate with trading and risk teams to ensure promotional viability.

CRM & Player Engagement

• Support CRM campaigns aligned with the sports calendar and major events.

• Coordinate sportsbook communications across CRM channels including email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.

• Assist in segmenting players and tailoring offers based on betting behavior.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key contact for sportsbook platform and data providers.

• Work with suppliers to resolve operational issues and improve the betting product.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Trading, Product, Marketing, BI, and Customer Support.

Customer Support & Operational Support

• Support Customer Support teams with sportsbook-related queries and betting issues.

• Assist with the investigation of disputes or technical issues in coordination with suppliers.

• Ensure clear communication of sportsbook promotions, updates, and market availability.

Reporting & Analysis

• Produce regular performance reports covering turnover, margin, player activity, and promotional results.

• Provide insights and ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making and sportsbook performance optimization.

Requirements

• Experience in sportsbook operations or a related sports betting role.

• Strong understanding of betting markets, sportsbook mechanics, and the sports calendar.

• Experience supporting CRM campaigns or promotions within an iGaming or sportsbook environment.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor performance and player behavior.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends during major sporting events.
