Our client is a financial services institution that combines traditional banking principles with modern, innovative solutions, offering a range of services across multiple industries.
The Product Manager is responsible for driving the development and execution of digital banking and payment product initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that products are innovative, client-focused, and aligned with strategic objectives. The Product Manager will own key roadmap initiatives and contribute to enhancing client experience and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and execution of product strategy and roadmap initiatives across digital banking, payments, and platform solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Development, IT, Compliance, Operations, and Client Relations) as well as external vendors to deliver solutions efficiently.
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and design through to launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Ensure all products and initiatives comply with regulatory and risk frameworks, including relevant payment regulations and AML/KYC requirements.
Analyse market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to inform product strategy and prioritisation.
Drive data-informed decision-making using analytics and reporting tools to monitor product performance and optimise outcomes.
Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Strong understanding of product management principles within a regulated financial services environment.
Ability to operate at the intersection of business, technology, and compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Management within banking, fintech, or financial services.
Experience working with digital banking platforms, payment workflows, APIs, and core banking systems.
Proven experience managing product lifecycles from concept through to launch and optimisation.
Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL) and reporting methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
