Accounts Executive
Accounts Executive sought to drive accurate financial reporting across construction groups; join a collaborative team, sharpen cost insight, and advance your ACCA path.
Our client is a well-established group of companies operating across various sectors within the construction industry, including civil engineering, infrastructure projects, manufacturing, mechanical and electrical installations, joinery, and interior finishing works.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the Group's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and data management across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Record, organise, and maintain accurate financial data and documentation.
Collaborate with various departments across the Group to ensure financial information is structured in accordance with reporting requirements.
Analyse financial information and support ongoing financial monitoring activities.
Maintain and review project costing information and financial performance data.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and internal reporting packs.
Support the control, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial records.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting procedures.
Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and maintained in line with company standards.
Requirements
Currently pursuing the ACCA Advanced Diploma qualification or an equivalent accounting qualification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and numerate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role will be considered an asset.
Fluency in both English and Maltese, written and spoken.
A clean police conduct certificate is required.
