Compliance & Administrative Officer
Malta-based Compliance & Administrative Officer: develop AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, and admin skills in a collaborative, growth-oriented team.
Our client is seeking a Compliance & Administrative Officer to join their team in Malta. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised professional looking to develop their career within compliance, administration, and operational support.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day compliance activities, support internal processes, maintain accurate documentation, and provide administrative support across the business. This position is particularly suited to candidates with up to 2–3 years of professional experience who are looking to gain further exposure within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Support
Assist with compliance monitoring activities and record-keeping.
Support KYC and Customer Due Diligence processes.
Maintain compliance files and documentation in line with internal procedures.
Assist with regulatory reporting and internal compliance checks.
Support audits and provide documentation when required.
Ensure records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative and office support.
Maintain databases, filing systems, and company records.
Assist with onboarding documentation and internal administrative processes.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Support day-to-day operational activities as required.
Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
Requirements
Up to 2–3 years of professional experience.
Previous experience in compliance, administration, banking, financial services, travel, or hospitality will be considered an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace applications.
Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn.
Nice to Have
Basic understanding of compliance, AML, KYC, or regulatory requirements.
Experience working within a regulated industry.
Familiarity with internal controls, documentation standards, and compliance processes.
