Quality Control Laboratory Analyst

Our client is a pharmaceutical company developing and manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms for international markets, with a particular focus on Europe and the United States.
The Quality Control Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for analysing incoming raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage form products in accordance with GMP principles. The selected candidate will also carry out other Quality Control activities according to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sample, analyse and report on the quality of incoming raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage form products.
Perform laboratory testing in accordance with approved methods, procedures and GMP requirements.
Compile, review and interpret laboratory test results.
Ensure test results and related documentation are recorded accurately and completed within the required timelines.
Perform equipment calibration and confirmatory analyses.
Review laboratory documentation, Standard Operating Procedures and other Quality Control records.
Ensure laboratory activities comply with applicable quality standards and internal procedures.
Identify and report any deviations, unusual results or quality-related concerns.
Maintain accurate and organised laboratory records.
Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the Quality Control laboratory.
Collaborate with colleagues and other departments when required.
Carry out other Quality Control duties according to operational requirements.
Requirements
A diploma or degree in Chemistry or another relevant scientific discipline.
Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment would be considered an asset.
Good understanding of laboratory practices, analytical testing and documentation.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated, dependable and results-oriented approach.
Willingness and ability to work according to the required shift pattern.
Working Hours
The position operates on a two-shift pattern:
Morning shift: 06:00-14:00
Afternoon shift: 13:00-21:00
