Player Protection Assistant
The role is intended to support the effective coordination and administration of the Player Protection Team’s day-to-day operations, with a focus on assisting with ticketing system processes, maintaining organised and up-to-date team folders on SharePoint, and providing general administrative support. The position contributes to the smooth handling of team workflows by ensuring that records, documentation, and internal systems are properly maintained, accessible, and aligned with established procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth coordination of team activities and workflows.
Assist with the administration of the ticketing system, including logging, tracking, updating, and escalating tickets as required.
Maintain the team’s SharePoint folders, ensuring documents are organised, updated, and accessible.
Maintain accurate records, trackers, registers, and supporting documentation for reporting and oversight purposes.
Support the preparation, formatting, and updating of internal documents, templates, and correspondence.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information, and support the timely completion of tasks.
Carry out administrative duties in line with internal procedures, confidentiality requirements, and record-keeping standards.
Uphold a culture of professionalism and empathy in interactions, ensuring the Authority’s reputation for fairness and integrity is maintained;
Carrying out other duties as instructed by Management from time to time.
Technical / Professional Expertise
In possession of a Diploma (MQF Level 5 or equivalent).
Good organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to maintain records, documentation, trackers, and team information accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ticketing or case management systems.
Ability to log, track, update, follow up, and escalate tickets or tasks in line with established procedures.
Strong attention to detail, with good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with internal stakeholders.
Understanding of confidentiality, data handling, and record keeping requirements within an office environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; and
Takes ownership and is action oriented.
